   Hello, my custom gamerpic is not uploading, it's showing up for a second and then reverts to a picture of my avatar, and it has a message that says: "Don't worry, we still have your picture. You'll see it again once we've verified it's ok." Does this mean
   I uploaded something wrong?

   I've noticed this problem too. It seems everyone is having trouble updating avatar gamer pics. Try changing your gamer pic to something other than your avatar and see if that updates quickly.

   I have used the online editor and it did update xbox.com. The Surface games app pic remains unchanged. As i said in the earlier post, that gamer pic is 2-3 years old. I have changed gamer pics several times and that one has yet to update.

   Changing Avatar Pic Issue On Xbox ONE!!!

   Hey Sana67Shah,

   I've done a bit of testing surrounding this issue and here are my findings:

   - The gamer pic next to forum posts does not update if you modify it on Xbox One

   - After creating a gamer pic from your Avatar, it takes a little while to update, but usually a restart fixes it

   In this case - I'd like you to try these steps:

   - Choose a gamer pic from the pre-created gamer pics, select one, save, then go back and select a different one, save. Then restart your console. See if it has updated.

   - Then go into the Avatars, and create a gamer pic from your Avatar, save it, and also save to OneDrive. Restart console, see if it has updated.

   Let me know how you get on!

   No, it means they are making sure the picture is OK for use. Once the picture is deemed OK, then it should show on your profile.
